#Theme Selection ~ #AtoZChallenge

This was a lot harder than I thought it would be. But I do love the idea of going with a theme. That being said, I'm going kid friendly of course. If I can't find something for each day, I'll try to find an appropriate fact for that day. I'm going with animals A-Z because I figure it would be a wonderful notebooking unit to put together as well.

#AmazonPrime for $79 ~ Last Day ~ Is it Worth it?

Today is the LAST day to get Amazon Prime for $79. If you're unsure if you want it, I recommend signing up for their 30 day free rial, because they say it will lock you in for this year at $79.

As many have heard, Amazon raised it's Prime pricing on March 17, 2014. It increased $20 (from $79 to $99). I posted about it on my main facebook profile to see what others thought. Some are on the fence about renewing, some feel it worth it, others won't be doing so. {Looking for my Healing Harvest Page? It's here}

For me, I never was a prime member for several reasons.
1) I don't order many physical items from Amazon
2) You still have to pay for a lot of the streaming - it's not all included (I use Google Play + Hulu and Netlix)
3) I don't like to give my books back and you only get one per month anyway.

I've never had it.

I mean:

1) Will the streaming work on my Kindle?
2) Will it work on the Playstation?
3) Will I order enough that I'd spend at least $79 if I had shipped it? Because I won't use the lending library. And I'm not sure I'll pay extra for shows and movies {I recently signed up for VUDU - but more on that another day}.

That being said, due to the array of thoughts on my facebook profile about it, I signed up for the 30 day trial. In the 30 days, I'll be searching for products I can't find locally as well as other items that may be at a better price since I'm so rural.

I'll be seeing if it really is worth it for me, and I'll probably be sharing an update in 30 days ~ will I continue for $79? Or are there better options for me?

What are your views on Prime?

#Product #Review ~ CARAFE Water cup with two-compartment pill box inside the cap

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I will receive a low value free gift from the manufacturer for
posting this review. I was not required or compelled to write a positive review. The opinions I
have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with FTC 16 CFR, Part 255.

This is such an absolutely neat idea. We've only had it for several days, but it's been wonderful already. The day it arrived, we were waiting to get my oldest in for a toothache. So, that night I figured I'd give this a try. I placed pain medication in the top with some water in the bottom for her and we put it on her nightstand. It was great. When she woke up, there was no need to get out of bed or fumble with hard to open when you're half asleep pill bottles.

Earlier today, while running n errand that I didn't want to put off, I put my youngest child's morning medications in it. This made them easy to access and I didn't have to stop somewhere for a drink for him to take them. Yes, I could toss a water bottle or juice box in the truck with us, but it's the fumbling of multiple items. This was fast nd easy. And he thought it was pretty neat.

I highly recommend this for anyone taking pills on the go or overnight. There's even two compartments in the side, so if it's multiple doses overnight, you can separate them and still not have to get up.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

#Product #Review ~ Pine Bros Cough Drops

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I received the pictured cough drops from the company for review. I first have to say, they were very generous with what they sent out for review. There were three of the "cases" (plastic with turn lids) each of honey and cherry. There were an additional three bags of each flavor.

These came at the perfect time as I was once again congested and coughing. The best part? These worked!

I absolutely love the small containers. I gave each of my children one of their own and I took one as well (with an extra). The drops are not individually wrapped. I liked this because my children can be messy, especially my youngest. So, for me, these are less clean up (wrappers).

The taste was enjoyable. Most cough drops have such a strong taste that you don't want to take them. We all want medicine and remedies that don't taste awful. It's been done with Pine Bros. These have a lighter taste. They aren't so strong that everyone in your home can smell them as you have one. Both flavors were delicious - my kids were overly partial to the cherry though.

They also are not your normal hard cough drop. These are gummy-like. Not quite a chewy as a gummy bear. But not hard like most. Although, it is recommended not to chew them.

Overall, we loved these. And it's great to have the plastic containers and use the bags for refilling them. They're easier to toss in a purse or bag when you're on the go. We've even put the extra plastic container in one of the compartments in the truck.
