#Book #Review: Liam the Leprechaun #children #StPatricksDay

Summary from GoodReads:
"LIAM THE LEPRECHAUN is a tale about one of Ireland’s mythic “Little People” who is all of that and more. Liam feelshe lives an almost invisible life in the village of Shillelaghand decides to do something about that. After visiting thewisest of all leprechauns, O’Hoolihan, Liam takes to heartHooley’s advice and his life as well as himself begin tochange. Liam the Leprechaun is a simple tale, with lessonsto be learned, for children everywhere, including the childin every adult."

My Review: This wonderful story sends a message to let everyone know that even though you may not be financially perfect nor physically perfect, you can still change from the pity that you may have for yourself. Being the best you that you can be is a wonderful thing to be without being rich or perfect on the outside.

Liam seeks out a wise leprechaun to help him with his feelings of inadequacy. This wise one tells him a new way to see things.

I did break this up into two different reading times with my 6 youngest. But he enjoyed it. He also loved the illustrations that were in there and wanted to stop and talk about those some during reading as well. This is a cute book that is wonderful for any children's library.
